It’s me again! For my second to last blog in this lockdown series, I can’t believe six blogs have passed now – it’s been so fun writing for you guys each week.
Having received my BEAUTIFUL Colour Pop pieces recently I requested Joss indulged me and allowed me to share some of my favourite looks with you, hopefully it will help give you an idea of the fit of the pieces and inspire you to rock some looks of your own too! Don’t forget to share your pics using the hashtag #ALOnYou – with this being the first collection created in lockdown Heidi and Joss would love to see everyone wearing their pieces so it’s not just them modelling these wonderful garms.
This week I’ll be styling the confetti dress, colour pop shorts and colour block culottes – all of which are in the teal as it’s one of my favourite all-time colours. So without further a-do, here’s my happy little face rocking my Aesthetic Laundry!
Confetti Dress - Teal
I’m a UK size 14/16 and about 5 foot 7 tall, I chose the Large plus 8cm for an oversized fit, I always prefer a bit of extra length on dresses to ensure my bottom is fully covered up! This is the perfect fit for me.
Perfect for sunny days, I love wearing mine really simply with sandals and a cute sun hat! Also, once it’s safe and allowed again, it will be the perfect dinner and drinks outfit too, so I’ve showed you how I’d style mine up for a night out too.

Boots: (you’ve guessed it..) Topshop
Colour pop shorts – teal and baby blue
Again I wear a size large. These actually feel slightly snugger than the culottes and hug my bum a bit more, I adore them and think they sit really well (also so happy to have shorts with pockets that fit my phone!) but if I was to purchase another pair I’d be tempted to size up to an extra-large for a more oversized fit.
As a rule of thumb, if it looks good with your culottes – it will look good with your shorts! Love these with a good tee (cropped or otherwise) and also an oversized jumper. I’m a big fan of a graphic tee with these shorts, and love clashing them with a bright pink too. The contrast panels are just beautiful as well – I’ve had so many compliments on these already!
If you’re looking for some more tees my favourite ethical brands for tees are Aesthetic Laundry (already got my eye on a cropped logo tee) and Lucy & Yak.

Shoes: Toms UK
Hat: The King’s Parade (merch)
Jumper: Lucy & Yak
Trainers: Topshop
I had to pop another image in here just to really show off that waistband. It’s the perfect rise and the shorts hang so well over my hips, these are definitely my new favourite summer bottoms!

If you need more ideas then check out my styling video, it also gives you a really good idea of how the garments sit and move with wear.
Remember to share your outfits using #ALOnYou – Heidi and Joss would love to share your styling ideas too!
Backpack: Lucy and Yak (Dylan in blue)
That’s it from me until next week, I hope these ideas have given you some outfit inspo or have helped you make your mind up about which piece of the colour pop collection would be perfect for you! I had so much fun putting together all these looks so hope they’ve brought a smile to your face too.
With lots of confetti joy,
Rachel
